Cancellations are simple to manage through your account. While ezCater has a standard 25% fee for orders canceled within 24 hours of delivery or pickup, keep in mind that individual restaurants may set their own specific fees or timelines.

Understanding cancellation fees

To make things predictable, we've standardized how fees are handled across the platform.

  • Standard policy: A 25% fee generally applies to orders canceled within 24 hours of delivery/pickup.

  • Restaurant-specific policies: Many restaurants set their own unique fees or cutoff times. You can find these details on the restaurant's page, and when you go to cancel the order.

  • Unaccepted orders: If a restaurant hasn't accepted your order yet, you won't be charged a fee for canceling.
