Add delivery instructions to your ezCater order
Getting your food to the right place at the right time is our top priority. You can help make your delivery a breeze by adding a few key details on the Delivery Instructions page during checkout.
Tell us who the driver should ask for and call when they arrive
Who should the driver ask for? Provide one or more names of people who will be on-site receiving the food.
βPhone number: A direct line to your on-site contact is the fastest way for a driver to get in touch. Try to avoid main reception numbers where a driver might get stuck in a phone menu. If you have to use one, please include the extension.
βSpecific delivery details (the more, the better!): Parking info, which building entrance to use, and the specific room or area for the food setup. Examples:
'Park in the visitor lot. Enter through the main lobby and ask security to call Alex on the 9th floor.'
'Use the back loading dock and buzz for the 4th floor; do not use the main entrance. Set up in Conference Room C."
Delivery and setup
Drivers utilize insulated bags to keep food hot during the drive.
Basic setup option: At checkout, you can select 'Set up for me.' This simply means the driver will unpack the food and lay items out on a table.
βNeed to keep it hot after deliver? Check the restaurant's menu to see if you can buy warmers (sternos or chafing dishes) as an add-on. Drivers cannot set up open-flame warmers for safety reasons, so please be ready to set those up yourself.
