Can I track my food delivery?

Get live tracking and delivery status updates on ezCater orders

We're thrilled to share that over half of ezCater orders now come with delivery tracking, and the number is continually growing!

Where is my ezCater order?

Staying informed has never been easier with clear text messages leading up to your delivery.

  • If live delivery tracking is available, a link to a map will be texted as your event time approaches.

  • For orders delivered directly by the restaurant that don't use our tracking technology, don't worry! We'll still text you to confirm when your food is on the way and once it has arrived.

  • You can also check status updates anytime in your ezCater account.

Turn on ezCater's delivery notifications

  1. Sign in to your ezCater account

  2. Click 'Account Settings'

  3. Scroll down to 'Notifications' to customize two different types of alerts to keep you in the loop:

    • Delivery updates: Choose how you want to receive real-time updates—via Text message, Email, and a Push notification from our app

    • Order confirmation: This is a separate notification to let you know your order reached confirmed status—turn on push notifications from our app

  4. For push notifications to work, download the ezCater Customer app (available in both iOS and Android) and turn on ezCater app notifications in your phone's settings

  5. Select 'Update Information' or 'Save'

Helpful tip: To make the handoff a breeze, be sure to include a delivery contact on the order so our driver can easily pass the food along when they arrive. We're dedicated to making your catering experience as smooth, transparent, and delightful as possible!
