How to start a group order?

Group ordering on ezCater takes the guesswork out of feeding a crowd. You choose the restaurant and event details, then send a link so everyone can add their own meal. One order, lots of happy eaters!

  1. Sign in to your ezCater account

  2. Click 'Other filters' and select 'Group ordering available'

  3. Choose a restaurant and click 'Group order' at the top of its page

  4. Fill out event details, including delivery or pickup address, date, and time - you can even choose an event name or set a budget per-person

  5. Copy the shareable link to send to your attendees via text, email, or a messaging app

  6. Attendees click the link, add their name and email, and pick their favorite menu items

  7. Review the items selected by your attendees to make sure everything looks good before submitting the order

Helpful tips:

  • Double-check that the restaurant offers individual packaging

  • Confirm minimum order requirements so there are no last-minute surprises

  • Remind your attendees about the order deadline. Nobody likes being late to the party!
